So, I pull out the speculum from the toy bag and put it near her face.  I tell her to “Say ‘AHHH”, in my best ‘doctor voice.’

Giggling, she asks…oh, is *that* where you want to put it?

Laughing harder, I say…”no, I don’t think so.”   I make a ‘quack quack’ noise and I open and close it in the air.

Once, it’s where it belongs she says ‘ugh, ok… is it open?’     ‘Well, I just put it in, so… no.’

With my other hand, I grab the camera.  As she sees this she says ‘what are you doing!?’

“Well, I’m going to get a picture of you.”   I expected a ‘what? you sick-o, let me up’  but no…

I get instead - “ok, well… is it open?”     (chuckle)    “workin’ on it”  I tell her.

“Ok, well just open it up.’  she says.    “I appreciate your enthusiasm!  That IS my intention here, so just take a deep breath and relax, ok?”

After it’s all done, it’s “Oh I wanna see… that’s *me*??  that’s what I look like on the inside!?!”

I replied “Yep, sit still and I’ll get my ‘USDA Grade A’ stamp for you…”  Inspected by number 6. (passed)

One of the best kept secrets in the art world is emerging artist Leroy Roper Jr.  Mr. Roper and his brother Charles produce painted backgrounds in Dallas, Texas.  Leroy combines these backgrounds with models that he has body painted, and then proceeds to take wonderful fantasy photographs.  These photographs allow the viewer to enter another world…a dream world.
